HOW IT WORKS

Reflect Together

Grow as a Group
Join the conversation online or at our live sessions as we explore themes of emotional awareness, resilience, and purpose.
Because growth happens in connection.
So many of us grew up without spaces to talk about the things that truly shape us — our emotions, our struggles, our triumphs.
Through shared reading and real conversations, Connect’d Reads helps us build that muscle: understanding ourselves, supporting each other, and redefining what strength looks like.
What Now?
Our Current Selection: Nonviolent Communication by Marshall Rosenberg, Ph.D.
A transformative guide on the power of “Compassionate Communication” and how the way we speak can deepen our connections with others.
As a community rooted in healing and healthy masculinity, we are moving from understanding our feelings to expressing them with clarity and purpose. While society often teaches men that “strength” means being stoic or winning an argument, Rosenberg’s work proves that true power lies in the ability to express needs without blame and to listen with genuine empathy.
Through this read, we aren’t just learning a new way to talk; we are practicing the courage it takes to be vulnerable and building the skills to lead more authentic, connected lives.
Why this follows our last book:
If you found the OFNR model (Observation, Feeling, Need, Request) helpful in the infographic I made, it fits perfectly here because it bridges the gap between the “Feeling” work you did with Marc Brackett and the “Requesting” work you’ll do now.

Order the book and join the conversation.
