A Peer Support Community You Can Point Clients Toward
Connect'd Men isn't therapy, and it isn't meant to replace it. It's a structured, facilitated space where men build the kind of consistent connection that often makes everything else — including clinical work — land better.
What Connect'd Men Is
Connect'd Men is a peer support community for men, built around honest conversation, consistency, and mutual accountability. Groups meet in person in Langley BC, Red Deer AB, and Williams Lake BC, and virtually for men anywhere in Canada — free, drop-in, no application required.
If you're a therapist, counselor, physician, or other professional who works with men, this page is for you: what the groups actually do, how they're facilitated, and how a client gets from "you mentioned it" to "they're in a room."
Where This Fits Alongside Your Work
Connect'd Men is a peer community, not a clinical or therapeutic service. Our groups are facilitated spaces for honest conversation, connection, and mutual support — not treatment, and not delivered by clinicians. What we hear consistently from members is that showing up regularly, being heard, and hearing other men say the same hard things out loud has a real effect on their day-to-day wellbeing — often alongside, not instead of, the clinical work they're already doing.
Men come to Connect'd Men between sessions, after a course of treatment ends, or simply because isolation itself is part of what they're carrying. It's a reasonable thing to suggest alongside care — it isn't a substitute for it.
If a client is in crisis, Connect'd Men is not equipped to respond to that and should never be the first or only referral — please continue to direct them to appropriate emergency or clinical resources first.
What Happens at a Meeting
Every Connect'd Men gathering runs on the same framework, so the experience is consistent whether it's someone's first meeting or their fiftieth.

About the Founder
Connect'd Men was founded by Mike Cameron, who built it after losing someone he loved and learning that connection is the variable that changes everything. He continues to lead the community as its founder today. Read more about Connect'd Men →
